The Murmurs of the Balloon

When Ahmed, a 9-year-old boy, wakes up, he sees a gathering of people dressed in black, crying and mourning in his house. Just the day before, his grandmother had blown up a balloon for him. Now, Ahmed believes that his grandmother can’t breathe anymore because she has given all her breath to the balloon. Concerned, he decides to sneak into his grandmother’s room and blow the air from the balloon into her mouth, thinking it will help her.
